Pamela Garmon Johnson serves as the National Senior Vice-President of Healthy Living and NextGen Programs for the American Heart Association (AHA), where she leads strategic initiatives to enhance community health across the U.S. She focuses on building powerful partnerships to drive transformative lifestyle changes through healthy living programs that emphasize nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being, particularly in young, diverse, and under-resourced communities. With over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, change management, and marketing, Pamela is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations as agents of change. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Active in various organizations, Pamela is a board member for several foundations and a distinguished member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is married to Robert Johnson, Chief Equity Officer for Bezos Academy, and they have one son, Miles.
