Milton Brown

Milton Brown, MD, PhD is a renowned physician-scientist and Vice Dean for Research at EVMS. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Brown is a pioneer in translational medicine and therapeutic discovery. He holds both a medical degree and a PhD in synthetic chemistry, a rare achievement. Dr. Brown has a strong track record of research and innovation, with over 40 patents, 100 peer-reviewed publications, and five biotech companies founded based on his licensed therapeutic inventions. He has also served on various scientific boards and committees, including the National Toxicology Program Board. Beforee joining EVMS, Dr. Brown held leadership positions at George Mason University and Georgetown University.
