Angi Kappenaman

Angi Kappenman is the Director of Total Rewards for the State of South Dakota Bureau of Human Resources and Administration. With over a decade of experience in HR, she oversees a wide range of functions including Employee Health, Well-being, Workers’ Compensation, HRIS, Payroll/Shared Services, Compensation, and HR Communications. Before her current role, Angi served as the VP for Human Resources at Dakota State University and the Total Rewards Manager at POET, LLC. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in leadership and human resource development. Certified by the Society of Human Resource Management, Angi is dedicated to HR excellence.
