Jeanne Eichler, EdD, MOT, OTR/L, MT,

Jeanne Eichler, Ed.D., MOT, OTR/L, MT, is a Music Therapist (BMT), Occupational Therapist (MOT), and Educator (Ed.D.). Her consulting/private practice TEMPEAUX, LLC/OT on Campus offers customized home, school, and workplace programs and services for adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers. She served as core faculty in three higher education institutions from 2009-2022 where her experiences led her to community, high school, college, and employment settings in both therapist, consultant, and program development roles. 

Jeanne enjoys exploring innovative practice areas that expand traditional occupational therapy practice. She has extensive experience working with individuals and groups across the lifespan who have a wide range of clinical conditions. Her current practice and research interest is transition to adulthood, specifically college and career, including sensory preferences and their occupational impacts on college students in transition related to success and retention. She presents research and practice at conferences and has published book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. She co-founded and serves on the Board of OT-U Collaborative, an organization that is working to define occupational therapy’s role for post-secondary students around the world. She is also on the advisory boards for US Autism Association and the Southern California University (SCU) Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program. 

Her innovations include the co-created "Engineering Brighter Futures for Autism," in collaboration with faculty and students at UT-Dallas Mechanical Engineering. This annual event brought occupational therapists, engineers, and individuals who have autism together for a collaborative experience supported by NSF and Microsoft. The event encouraged discussion and reflection on co-worker collaboration- working effectively with individuals who may be significantly different in working or learning styles, essentially preparing “future co-workers” to create productive neurodiverse work environments. 

Jeanne also carries certifications in several Take Flight Learning programs. These programs, based on the DISC profile, contribute to her unique strategies with the people and settings where she consults. She frequently integrates the arts into her practice, providing a dynamic environment conducive to growth and development across multiple settings.
