Theresa Cross

Theresa Cross, MS, RDN, is the Wellness Manager for Oregon Public Employees’ Benefit Board and Oregon Educators Benefit Board. Her primary role is to implement the Governor’s Executive Order on State Agency Employee Wellness. She provides support to state agencies to develop and update their employee wellness plans and to adopt policies to support employee health and well-being, staff the Worksite Wellness Coordinating Council, and coordinate a regular survey of members. Previously, Theresa was a Policy Analyst with the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Unit of the Oregon Health Authority tasked with developing the employee wellness program and conducting legislative bill analysis. She has worked in local public health developing community partnerships and supporting community-driven solutions for promoting health. This work focused on youth tobacco prevention and developing no-smoking policies, supporting the local food policy council, and partnering with city planners on active transportation infrastructure.
