Mary Freire de Carvalho

Mary Freire de Carvalho, MPH, PhD, is an epidemiologist with Shell working on the Global Health Program Development Team. With a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, she came to Shell with diverse experience in the field, including working as a Zoonosis Specialist at the Pan American Health Organization in Brazil and as a biostatistician for NASA Space Medicine. Her current work at Shell focuses on global worker health protection, supporting science-based decisions and programming to support a mentally and physically healthy workforce.
